Mississippi St. RB Anthony Dixon suspended
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State running back Anthony Dixon has been suspended for Saturday’s game against Jackson State.
The suspension comes after a month of questions for coach Dan Mullen about how he would handle the senior’s discipline after a DUI arrest last month.
Dixon was chosen preseason second-team all-Southeastern Conference this year and has led the Bulldogs in rushing the last three seasons.
Christian Ducre, Arnil Stallworth and Robert Elliott will now get the bulk of work against the Tigers.
