2 face perjury charges in Williams investigation

DENVER — Perjury charges have been filed against two men who police say were in an SUV when it was used in the drive-by shooting death of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams.

An indictment made public this week alleges Mario Anderson and Kataina Jackson-Keeling lied to a grand jury. Each faces charges of perjury and attempting to influence a public servant.

Neither has been charged with shooting Williams, who was killed on New Year’s Day 2007.

Twenty-six-year-old Willie Clark has been charged with first-degree murder and other crimes in Williams’ death. Investigators are still pursuing a suspected second shooter.
