Bucknell returns two interceptions for touchdowns in 26-23 win over Robert Morris

Defense leads Bucknell past Robert Morris 26-23
LEWISBURG, Pa. — Greg Jones and Brigham Farrand returned interceptions for touchdowns to help Bucknell beat Robert Morris 26-23 on Saturday.
With the game tied 10-10 in the third quarter, Jones intercepted Desmond Brentley’s pass for a 19-yard touchdown. On Robert Morris’ next possession, Brentley was picked off by Farrand, who scored from 26 yards away for the Bison (1-1).
Brentley, who had 157 yards passing, finished with four interceptions for the Colonials (0-2).
Garrett Clawson made three field goals for Robert Morris, including a 44 yarder to cut the lead to 24-23 with 5:18 left. Bucknell sealed the win on a safety with less than two minutes remaining.
Robert Morris outgained Bucknell 348-183 in yards. The Bison were held to minus-18 yards rushing.
Sherrod Evers caught eight passes for 139 yards and a touchdown for the Colonials.
