Broncos latest team to partner with state lottery

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos and the Colorado Lottery have announced an instant ticket game that includes a chance to win 2010 season tickets.

The lottery says the game, which started Monday, could generate $1.5 million for parks, trails and wildlife protection across the state while the team could earn between $308,000 and $537,000 if the game sells out.

The lottery hopes to sell 1.8 million of the $5 tickets. If all tickets are sold, the game will gross $9 million and return $6.3 million in prizes, including top payouts of $100,000. The game also features second-chance drawings for 50 pairs of 2010 season tickets.

The Broncos are the 16th team to take advantage of a new rule approved by NFL owners to allow teams to partner with local lotteries.
