Martin scores with 1:58 remaining to lift Fordham to 34-29 win over Old Dominion

Fordham scores late to beat Old Dominion 34-29
Bronx, N.Y. — Xavier Martin scored on a 3-yard run with 1:59 remaining and Fordham beat Old Dominion 34-29 on Saturday.
The Rams (1-3) had 687 yards total offense. John Skelton went 28-for-42 for 402 yards and two touchdowns. He had a 29-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Skelton and a 36-yarder to David Moore in the second quarter as the Rams rallied from a 7-0 deficit.
Martin finished with 187 yards on 25 carries and Daryl Whiting had 101 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries for the Rams.
The Monarchs (2-3), which lost their second straight game, took a 29-28 lead with 3:06 to play on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Thomas DeMarco to Carlos Davis. DeMarco was 18-for-40 for 240 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
