Ravens LT Gaither moving both arms and legs
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Baltimore left tackle Jared Gaither has movement in both arms and legs after being taken off the field on a stretcher.
Gaither was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for tests on his neck and shoulder Sunday after a collision in the backfield midway through the second quarter of the Ravens game with the New England Patriots.
The 6-foot-9, 340-pound Gaither was dropping back as he blocked right defensive end Jarvis Green. Meanwhile, defensive end Ty Warren rushed quarterback Joe Flacco from the other side and shoved Flacco into Gaither’s back after Flacco released a short incomplete pass toward Willis McGahee.
Flacco and Gaither both went down, but Flacco quickly got up.
