Harden’s 121 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns lift Ohio to 28-7 victory over Miami (Ohio)

Ohio defeats Miami (Ohio) 28-7
ATHENS, Ohio — Donte Harden rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns to lead Ohio to a 28-7 victory over Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.
Harden scored on a pair of 1-yard runs to help the Bobcats (5-2, 3-0 Mid-American Conference) win their third consecutive game and defeat Miami for the fourth straight time.
It is Ohio’s first 3-0 conference start since 1997.
Theo Scott threw two touchdown passes to Terrence McCrae as Ohio scored 28 consecutive points after Miami (0-7, 0-3) took a 7-0 lead on Zac Dysert’s 1-yard run with 10:07 left in the first quarter.
Harden’s first 1-yard run tied the game at 7 with 1:08 remaining in the first quarter.
Scott, who threw for 163 yards, hit McCrae on a 24-yard pass for a 14-7 lead and then connected with him again on an 8-yard scoring pass for a 21-7 lead with 39 seconds left in the first half.
Dysert was 19 of 30 for 166 yards.
