Robert Morris easily beats St Francis, Pa., 28-0
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Robert Morris got touchdown runs from three different players, and Rolf Bathold returned an interception for a score as the Colonials shut down St. Francis, Pa., 28-0 on Saturday.
Jeff Sinclair was 6-for-17 passing with 123 yards and one interception for the Colonials (1-6, 1-3 Northeast Conference). He also ran for 21 yards and a score on 11 carries.
After a scoreless opening quarter, Josh Keil got Robert Morris on the board with a 3-yard touchdown run midway through the second.
In the third quarter, Bathold picked off a John Kelly pass and returned it 25 yards to put the Colonials up 14-0. The Colonials got a pair of touchdown runs in the fourth — Sinclair and Jamar Cromwell both scored on 1-yard runs — to seal the game.
The Colonials have won four straight against St. Francis (1-6, 0-4).
