Randolph leads Holy Cross past Fordham 41-27
BRONX, N.Y. — Dominic Randolph passed for 314 yards and four touchdowns to lead Holy Cross to a 41-27 win over Fordham on Saturday.
Randolph, who also threw two interceptions, had passing scores of 39 yards to Bill Edger and 24 yards to Freddie Santana to give the Crusaders (7-1, 3-0 Patriot League) a 14-3 lead in the first quarter. The quarterback also had 75 yards rushing on 16 carries.
The Rams (3-5, 0-3) cut the lead to 14-10 on Xavier Martin’s 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. But Fordham would get no closer as Randolph had passing scores of 3 and 9 yards to Santana to put Holy Cross ahead 34-13 in the third.
Santana had seven catches for 82 yards, while Edger had 91 yards on four receptions for the Crusaders.
Fordham’s John Skelton was 43-for-67 passing for 427 yards. Stephen Skelton had 13 catches for 102 yards and rushed 46 yards and a TD.
