Davitte, Scott, Allen each rush for more than 70 yards in Wofford’s 43-17 win over The Citadel

Wofford beats The Citadel 43-17
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Stev Davitte rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in Wofford’s 43-17 win over The Citadel on Saturday.
The Terriers (3-6, 2-4 Southern Conference), who beat the Bulldogs for the 11th straight season, had 450 yards of offense, including 320 yards rushing.
Michael Scott finished with 87 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, Mitch Allen had 79 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Mike Rucker added 34 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries for Wofford.
The Terriers took a 43-10 lead on a 16-yard touchdown run by Scott with 10:19 left to play.
The Citadel’s Bart Blanchard was 15 of 23 for 91 yards and a touchdown. Blanchard scored the Bulldogs’ only touchdown on a 6-yard pass to Alex Sellars with 1:44 left in the second quarter.
Terrell Dallas finished with 73 yards on 15 carries for the Bulldogs (4-5, 2-4).
