Sirius XM offers 14 ways to hear Super Bowl
NEW YORK — Satellite radio company Sirius XM Radio Inc. said Thursday it will offer listeners 14 different broadcasts of the upcoming Super Bowl in 10 languages.
Listeners can choose to hear English play-by-play of the Feb. 7 game in Miami Gardens, Fla., from the favored Colts’ side, the underdog Saints’, National Radio or the BBC.
There also will be two Spanish channels as well as channels with Russian, French, Japanese, German, Italian, Hungarian, Dutch and Danish announcers.
The company said it will begin daily Super Bowl coverage on Monday.
Shares rose 7 cents, or 9.2 percent, at 81 cents in late Thursday trading.
