SYDNEY - Western Australia batsman Adam Voges and Tasmanian wicketkeeper Tim Paine have been named in the Australian squad for games three and four of the one-day international series against the West Indies in Sydney and Brisbane, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The pair has been included in a 13-man squad in place of Brad Haddin and all-rounder Shane Watson, who have been rested ahead of the upcoming one-day series in New Zealand later this month.

Chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch said: “Paine thoroughly deserves another chance behind the stumps for Australia in ODI cricket after playing so well in England, the ICC Champions Trophy and India late last year.”

“Voges was unlucky to miss selection for the opening two matches against the West Indies but now has a chance to press for selection,” he added. (ANI)
