UFC Post Fight Press Conference

MONTERREY, MEXICO (GaeaTimes.com)- The Ultimate Fighters Challenge that took place in Monterrey in Mexico, came to an end on Saturday, in the usual fashion, that is, with a press conference. The Ultimate Fighters Challenge post fight press conference was the usual affair, with the press taking interviews of the individual fighter, and the specially mentionable ones gaining more attention than the others. There was also the usual lauding of some of the stars, with the fighters giving hints about their further plans after the conference. The distribution of the prizes also took place in the press conference itself, with Jared Hamman, Kurt Pellegrino, Rodney Wallace and Shane Carwin winning $65 thousand each.
Jared Hamman and Rodney Wallace won the prize for the fight of the night, while Kurt Pellegrino won it for the submission of the night, and Shane Carwin took the prize for the knockout of the night. In the Ultimate Fighters Challenge post fight press conference, Jon Fitch was amply praised by the President of the Ultimate Fighters Challenge, Dana White, for delivering the knockout performance against Ben Saunders and winning. However, Dana White did not comment on Jon Fitch’s wishes of being given a rematch against Georges St. Pierre.
All over, it seemed that the event had been a great success, as could be judged from the comments of Dana White in the Ultimate Fighters Challenge post fight press conference. Dana White commented that the event had seen a turnover of almost 17,000 people, approximately, and a total of $4 million had been garnered from tickets, in the live gate. The UFC post fight press conference was live streamed in various websites, and was also broadcast on television.
