ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (GaeaTimes.com) - In a bid to silence his critics former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Malik has formally approached an Indian lawyer to file a case against Ayesha Siddiqui who claim to be his wife , sources said on Thursday late at night.

According to credible sources , Pakistani cricket star has also taken his would be wife ( Sania Mirza ) into confidence on Thursday before going to court against Ayesha Siddiqui and her father Mohammad Ahmed Siddiqui who claim that Ayesha is Shoaib’s wife.

When contacted on Thursday Shoaib’s brother-in-law Imran Zafar Malik confirmed to this correspondent on telephone that consultation were on with a lawyer Ramish Gupta in New Delhi to take a legal action against Siddiqui family.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ramish Gupta has been the president of the Delhi High Court Bar Association and has a good reputation.

Since the news of engagement of Pakistani Cricket star Shoaib Malik and Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza made appearance in local and International media , Shoaib is facing embracement in the hands of Siddiqui family who claim that Shoaib has to divorce Ayesha Siddiqui before getting marry to Sania Mirza. Interestingly, Ayesha Siddiqui hails from India also.

Although Shoaib Malik’s family admitted the fact that there had been a relation between Shoaib and Ayesha on internet however the family denies that Shoaib married to Ayesha ever.

It is important to mention here that the cold war between Shoaib Malik and Ayesha’s family had begin in February 2008 for the first time when father of a Hyderabadi girl whose love story involving Pakistani cricket captain Shoaib Malik went sour contested his claim that the couple did not enter into a ‘nikah’ and pressed the player to give a “formal divorce.”

Mr Siddiqui was reacting to Malik’s statement in Karachi on January 21, 2008 when the cricketer claimed that no ‘nikah’ took place between him and Ayesha Siddiqui.

“The ‘nikah’ of my daughter (Ayesha) with Shoaib Malik took place on June 3, 2002. We also have the proof,” said Siddiqui amid reports that the couple got ‘married’ through a telephone ‘nikah’ on that date.

In return Shoaib Malik had admitted his relation with Ayesha, however, denied any ‘nikah’ took place between them.

“Yes I had a long relationship with her ( Ayesha Siddiqui) and we planned to get married. But no nikah ever took place and in the end our families could not reach an understanding on various things,” Malik had said two years back in February in 2008.

At a time when two star players of their relevant field are likely to get marry , Shoaib has found himself in hot water once again as Siddiqui family has demanded from Shoaib Malik to divorce Ayesha before getting marry to Sania Mirza.

According to media reports Ayesha Siddiqui has claimed that she can produce the wedding certificate and other relevant documents to prove her relationship with Shoaib Malik.

In an interview with an Indian TV, Siddiqui said she was hurt by the revelations made by Shoaib and his family about her.

The allegations being leveled by the Shoaib’s family are totally baseless, the somber-looking lady said.

“Shoaib himself accepted of being married with me, she said, adding he had sent Rs500 as a Haq Mehr to me.” “I want to get a formal divorce from Shoaib Malik.”

To a question, Siddiqui said she was not in contact with Shoaib Malik anymore, adding they she had spoken to the cricketer for the last time in 2007.

She also made a stunning disclosure that wife of former Pakistan skipper Muhammad Yousuf know about their relationship.

“If Shoaib does not want to live with me. I am also not interested,” she added.

False Cases filed by Ayesha amount to misuse of law. Threat to suicide from Ayesha is a criminal threat.

Marriage disputes before, during and after marriage are civil disputes. It is fascism if all marriage disputed are given a colour of criminal disputes and IPC section 498a is invoked. Even the supreme court of India has warned against mis use of Section 498A IPC

This female Ayisha is aiming at US $ 1 Million. This is pure Ransom

Even IF Shoaib is married already, Muslims are governed by Muslim personal law - Sharia in India. They can marry upto four wives. they do NOT need the permission of the first wife to marry again

Wow, what a complicated case! Hmmm…I suppose the proof will be in the presenting the evidence…the wedding certificate.
