KOLKATA - Rajasthan Royals skipper and spin bowling legend Shane Warne Friday said there was a 50-50 chance of him returning to India as a cricketer for the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

“I am not sure if I will return as a cricketer next year. At the moment it’s 50-50,” Said Warne, who led the Rajasthan Royals to the title in the maiden edition of the league two years back.

Warne said he has thoroughly enjoyed his three-year stint with the Royals.

“I love India and I have a lot of friends here. I am 40 years old and it takes time to get into the groove coming from a lay-off. This year it took me a couple of games to find the rhythm. But since then I have bowled well,” he said.

Rajasthan Royals, who wrap up their round-robin matches Saturday against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, have very slim chances of making it to the semi finals.

If they fail to make the cut, Eden Gardens could be witness to the last game of the Aussie leg spinner.
