Keli McGregor Dies In Hotel Room

SALT LAKE CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- On Tuesday, Apr 20, the Salt Lake City Police found Keli McGregor the team President of the Colorado Rockies baseball club dead in the downtown Salt Lake City’s The Grand America Hotel reportedly. Initial investigation has found no foul play in the death of Keli McGregor and the police have mentioned that he had died of natural causes. Keli McGregor was in Utah on a business meet for the Colorado Rockies Club.

The Salt Lake Police detective Rick Wall mentioned that on Tuesday morning, two associates of Keli McGregor were unable to get in touch withhim and that he was then found unconscious in his hotel room by someone. The hotel authorities alerted the police at around 9 am (MDT) and the emergency workers who reached at the spot within no time were unable to revive Keli McGregor back to life. Detective Rick Wall said that as of now the police is not suspecting any foul play and the case has been handed over to the Salt Lake City Medical Examiner’s Office who will determine both the cause and time of Keli McGregor’s death.

Keli McGregor had a long association with the Colorado Rockies team. He joined the club in 1993 as senior director of operation. Keli McGregor had since then been with the club and was made the president of the team in 2001. The news of the death of the President of the team has left the players and all other members shocked. The Chairman of the Colorado Rockies Charlie Monfort voiced the feeling of the club and said that all are in a state of disbelief.
