MIAMI (GaeaTimes.com)- The former Major League Baseball right fielder Sammy Sosa is back to black again. Sammy Sosa who was seen going through a drastic facial color change from black to white had given rise to rumors that the player is indulging too much in skin whitening products and bleaches. In late 2009 Sammy Sosa was seen in public with a lighter skin tone.

Sammy Sosa reportedly mentioned to media sources that it was the effect of a facial cream that he had used. Sammy Sosa had explained at that time that he had not known that the cosmetic cream will lead to his skin getting bleached and maintained that it was purely unintentional. He also asserted that he had mistakenly used the cosmetic cream. However, many went on to compare Sammy Sosa with Michael Jackson who had also gone for skin lightening due to vitiligo.

The news of Sammy Sosa being seen again in his natural hue was brought out by a reputed media source. The media source claimed that Sammy Sosa was seen partying with friends all through the night at club Liv at the Fontainebleau in the Miami Beach. The source reports that the player looked to be back in his “usual color”. Since then many media sources have come up with similar reports. However, none of the media sources have not been able to produce the recent pictures of Sammy Sosa in his natural hue. If the rumors are true then it seems that Sammy Sosa was right when he claimed that his last year’s skin tone change was unintentional.
