LONDON - Food prepared by Chef Tim De’Ath will be provided to England’s football stars during this year’s FIFA World Cup.

Jocularly referred to as Dr. Death, Tim will put the players on a special super-carb diet to combat the effects of altitude, and hopefully, give them the edge over their rivals.

Fabio Capello picked Tim after the England boss heard about his work with Premiership club West Ham, The Mirror reports.

Steak, chicken and fish will be on the menu as the stars plough through 5,000 carbs a day.

The England party has packed:

6 bottles Tabasco sauce

24 bottles peri-peri sauce

12 tubes wasabi paste

25 bottles sweet chilli sauce

10 bottles English mustard

30 packs seaweed sheets

25 bags pine nuts

30 bags dried apricots

30 packs custard

30 packs vegetable stock cubes

200 organic chocolate bars

30 bags herbal teas

10 packs risotto rice

5 litres olive oil

24 bars jam

15 bottles brown sauce

10 bottles balsamic vinegar (ANI)
