Capello wants to stay on as England manager

BLOEMFONTEIN - England manager Fabio Capello has made his intentions clear about staying on with the Three Lions’ despite their shattering Round of 16 exit from the World Cup.
However, Capello has been told that he will have to wait for two weeks to find if the Football Association (FA) wants him to carry on.
“I spoke this morning with [the Club England chairman] Sir David Richards,” The Independent quoted Capello, as saying.
“He told me that he needs two weeks to decide. I said I can be for next season the manager of England, but they have to decide,” he added.
England was eliminated from the tournament after Germany thrashed them 4-1 in Sunday’s Round of 16 match in Bloemfontein.
According to reports, Capello could be axed from his role. (ANI)
