CHICAGO (GaeaTimes.com)- Restricted Free Agent J.J. Redick is the latest player to have caught the attention of the Chicago Bulls who are reportedly interested to sign him for their team. As per rumors, J.J. Redick has signed an offer-sheet on Friday with the Chicago Bulls who have offered him a three-year, $20 million contract. The player who played for the Orlando Magic last year is yet to sign a final deal and the Orlando Magic has a week’s time to match the offer provided by the Chicago Bulls.

Although sources claimed that the offer set by the Chicago Bulls will be hard for the Orlando Magic to match, the latter had declined any such rumor and said that keeping J.J. Redick in the team is a priority. Stan Van Gundy, the coach of the Orlando Magic said to a media source recently that he is “not worried about what J.J Redick might get from somebody”. He added that the offer from the other team will only leave the Orlando Magic management with a decision and that the general manager Otis Smith has an intention of matching the offer.

Undoubtedly with a career record like J.J. Redick’s any team will like to hold on to the player who has yet much more potential to explore. J.J. Redick in his fourth season with the Orlando Magic last year had an average of 9.6 points per game and had shot 40 percent of his shots from the three-pointer range. The player last year played all 82 games and has to his credit a career average of 39.2 percent 3-pointer shooter. If not LeBron James, Chicago Bulls are trying to hit the bull’s eye with the J.J. Redick.
