Harvick takes truck series race

MADISON, Ill. — Kevin Harvick won for the third time in his four NASCAR trucks races this season, taking the Camping World Series 200 with a near wire-to-wire victory on Saturday.

Harvick led all but 16 of the 160 laps at the 1.25-mile Gateway International Raceway, then began preparations for the Nationwide Dodge Dealers 250 a little more than four hours later. The truck race was postponed Friday night because of a power failure.

Harvick took the first trucks pole position of his career in qualifying on Friday.

Brad Keselowski was second and Johnny Sauter third, both racers also leaving to qualify for the Nationwide race shortly after a postrace news conference.
