Titans DE William Hayes questionable for opener
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Defensive end William Hayes missed practice Friday and is listed as questionable for the Tennessee Titans’ Sunday season opener against the Oakland Raiders.
He suffered an MCL sprain in his right knee on Aug. 11 and missed all of the preseason.
After returning to practice this week, he tweaked his knee during the individual period of Thursday’s practice.
Guard Mike Otto (knee) is out; defensive end Jacob Ford (back) and receiver Justin Gage (thumb) are probable. Guard Leroy Harris (ankle), linebacker Colin Allred (ankle) and defensive tackle Tony Brown (knee) are questionable.
Linebacker Will Witherspoon, who has missed the entire week of practice due to the death of his mother, will rejoin the team Saturday.
