3 TD passes from Sinclair to King lead Robert Morris to 35-31 win over Sacred Heart

Robert Morris beats Sacred Heart 35-31 on late TD
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Jeff Sinclair completed a 7-yard touchdown pass to Shadrae King with 17 seconds left, their third score of the game, to give Robert Morris a 35-31 victory over Sacred Heart on Saturday.
King caught eight passes for 133 yards, including a 35-yarder from Sinclair that gave the Colonials (1-1, 1-0 Northeast Conference) their first lead, 28-24, with 11:14 left. King also caught a 12-yard touchdown from Sinclair for a 14-14 tie 37 seconds before halftime.
After Robert Morris took the lead, the Pioneers (1-1, 0-1) went in front 31-28 on Dale Fink’s 47-yard pass to Sean Kessler with 2:06 left. Fink completed five passes on a 76-yard drive that took 1:14.
Fink was 27-for-41 passing for 324 yards and four touchdowns but was sacked five times and intercepted on the final play.
Russ Myles rushed 24 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns for the Colonials.
