GAINESVILLE (GaeaTimes.com) — Chris Rainey not only got arrested but also seems to have been abandoned from the team after being charged with aggravated stalking which happens to be a 3rd degree felony.

It all started as Chris went to his girlfriends place and howled,

I’m here and I will bust out the window

He then texted his girlfriend after being told to leave her premises,

Time to die [expletive] u and ur???

The victim who took the matter by shock called up the police. When asked to conversate with the police officials Chris again stated,

Wait and see what happens when they leave.

Later he got busted, and agreed on all his statements, but he also added that he meant it otherwise. Rainey was ordered not to contact the victim post his release on Tuesday from the Alachua County Jail. The woman though seemed pretty much compassionate and stated,

I did not want to have him arrested, When the police came, I signed papers to not press any charges. I don’t fear for my safety. … People all over the country have been calling my cell phone. I’m not afraid of him. I’m more afraid of all the repercussions.

Well, disciplinary actions for Rainey haven’t been chalked out yet but when asked, Gators’ offensive coordinator Steve Addazio said,

Chris Rainey is not a part of our team right now. That’s really all I have to say on that.

Rainey has proved himself to be a worthy player in recent past and was expected to play this week against Tennessee. His personal life seems to have over-cast his bright career. Lets see what the future holds for him.
