CHARLESTON, S.C. — Terrell Dallas rushed for two touchdowns, including an 80-yarder, to lead The Citadel to a 26-14 win over Presbyterian on Saturday night.

Dallas, who finished with 172 yards on 16 carries, opened the scoring with a 37-yard TD run. Blue Hose running back Trandon Dendy answered with his own 43-yarder up the middle to tie the game midway through the first quarter.

The Bulldogs (2-1) scored the next 17 points, starting with Van Dyke Jones’ 17-yard touchdown run. Dallas’ 80-yard romp gave The Citadel a 21-7 halftime lead.

After a scoreless third quarter, Sam Keeler kicked a 21-yard field goal to push the lead to 24-7 early in the fourth.

Brandon Miley scored on a 15-yard quarterback draw with 3:23 remaining to put Presbyterian (0-3) within 10 points.

After sacking Miley in the end zone for a safety, The Citadel recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock.
