Wojdowski’s 2 TDs lead Lehigh over Princeton 35-22

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Alex Wojdowski caught two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and Lehigh snapped a seven-game losing streak against Ivy League opponents Saturday with a 35-22 win over Princeton.

Wojdowski scored on an 18-yard pass from running back Jay Campbell with 13:14 to play and a 12-yard pass from quarterback Michael Colvin with 2:56 left as the Mountain Hawks (2-1) beat the Tigers (0-1) at home for the first time since 2002.

Chris Lum and Sean Farrell rushed for touchdowns and Jake Peery kicked two field goals as Lehigh led 20-19 after three quarters. Campbell was the Mountain Hawks’ leading rusher with 79 yards on 21 carries, and Colvin completed 10 of 14 passes for 128 yards.

Princeton quarterback Tommy Wornham completed 32 of 51 passes for 392 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown to Trey Peacock. The Tigers had 528 yards total offense to Lehigh’s 327.
