Favre pressing during 0-2 start
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Brett Favre says he simply has to play better to get the Minnesota Vikings out of an 0-2 hole.
Favre committed four turnovers in a 14-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. He says it’s been difficult to recreate the chemistry and magic that he had with the Vikings last year because of injuries to receivers Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin.
Even so, Favre said Thursday that he has to make better decisions and not force the issue while the offense works to get on the same page.
Favre says he found himself pressing during the second half of the Dolphins game and trying to do too much. He threw three interceptions in the game, which is one more than he threw at home all of last season.
