Favre’s got his guy; now he and Moss must produce

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Brett Favre is finally united with Randy Moss. Now the fun part starts.

The challenge begins, too, because the Minnesota Vikings still must get their passing game on track and catch up in the NFC race.

Favre said this week he now feels more pressure than he thought he would, realizing his responsibility to perform with the addition of one of the game’s greatest wide receivers.

The 33-year-old Moss said he knows both he and the soon-to-be-41-year-old Favre are running out of time in their NFL careers. Moss said he’s just here to play, not to save the offense.

The Vikings travel to the Jersey Meadowlands this weekend for a Monday night game against the Jets, Favre’s team in 2008 and Moss’s division rival when he played for the Patriots.
