CWG: 35 gold medals at stake, all eyes upon Indian shooters

NEW DELHI - The action will hot up on seventh day of the XIXth Commonwealth Games as a total of 35 gold medals will be up for grabs in various disciplines.
Hopes will be high when Olympic bronze winning wrestler Sushil Kumar gets on the floor on Sunday to compete in the Men’s freestyle 66 kg category.
Ace shooters Vijay Kumar and Harpreet Singh will participate in the Men’s Singles 25 m Centrefire Pistol Final.
Mansher Singh, Manavjit Singh Sandhu, who won Silver in Pairs Trap event on Friday, will take part in the Men’s Singles Trap Stage 2 final.
Weightlifter Geeta Rani will be leading India’s campaign in 75kg category and will hope to make a podium finish.
The gold medals at stake today include: Swimming (3), Archery (4), Athletics (8), Cycling (2), Lawn Bowls (4), Shooting (6), Tennis (2), Weightlifting (2) Wrestling (4)
