SYDNEY - England off-spinner Graeme Swann and fast bowler Stuart Broad are reportedly keen to join the Indian Premier League next season, where they expect to rake in deals worth over 200,000 pounds each for five weeks’ work.

According to the Sun, the pair has already told the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) that they want to appear in the money-spinning event scheduled for next April and May.

Broad had turned down the chance to play in this year’s IPL to stay fresh for Pakistan’s tour to England.

The 24-year-old and Swann believe that the time has come to maximize their earnings.

England cricketers Kevin Pietersen, Eoin Morgan and Paul Collingwood will also be in January’s IPL auction. (ANI)
