Davis Cup to Stage at an Airport Hanger

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — Austria’s Davis Cup tie with France will be staged in an airport hangar in Vienna.
The Austrian Tennis Federation announced the unusual venue for the first-round tie, which will take place from March 4-6, on Wednesday.
The hangar at Vienna Airport, 20 miles outside the city, will be turned into a 6,000-capacity tennis venue, with the action taking place on a specially-laid claycourt.
