Thorpe’s swimming future announcement on Wednesday

SYDNEY - Champion Olympian Ian Thorpe will make an announcement tomorrow afternoon about his swimming future.
There is speculation that Thorpe, Australia’s most successful Olympian, will make a comeback at the London Games next year.
The location of the press conference will be revealed tomorrow morning, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
It understands that Thorpe has yet to lodge drug testing paperwork with Swimming Australia but is expected to tomorrow.
According to The Age, Thorpe must be reinstated on the international drug testing register at least nine months before competing, meaning any decision on competing at the London Olympics would need to be taken soon.
His comeback is not official until this paperwork is lodged. (ANI)
