“This is the first time that India will play the World Cup under Dhoni’s leadership. We have high hopes from our home town boy. This Indian team has done well under his captaincy,” said Rajesh Sen, a St Xavier’s student from where Dhoni is doing his graduation.
Echoing his view, another student Amar Rai said: “India won the first Twenty20 World Championship under Dhoni and we are confident that this time we will win the World Cup after 28 years.”
