Dhoni seeks divine blessings before World Cup

RANCHI - Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Saturday sought divine blessings before the World Cup starting Feb 19.
Dhoni prayed at Deori temple, around 40 km from here. He visits the shrine dedicated to goddess Durga before any crucial series.
Earlier, he went to the venue of the 34th National Games starting Feb 12. Dhoni will, however, not attend the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games due to the World Cup schedule.
Dhoni was here to inaugurate the Twenty20 Jharkhand Premier League.
