SYDNEY - Australian off-spinner Jason Krejza reckons that his lack of exposure at international level could work in his favour during the upcoming World Cup.

Krejza was included in the 15-man Australian squad in place of injured Nathan Hauritz.

“India is where it all began for me with my Test career. I’ve played there a few times now with academy teams and with the Australian team so it’s familiar,” Fox Sports quoted Krejza, as saying.

“Hopefully that little bit of experience I’ve got and maybe the surprise factor - some of these teams haven’t seen me play at all - will hopefully help me in some sort of way,” he added.

The 28-year-old had made his ODI debut against England in the seventh match in Perth on Sunday.

He finished with match figures of 2-53 from nine overs. (ANI)
