RIO DE JANEIRO - Corinthians striker Ronaldo will be banned for one match for pulling an opponent’s hair in a Brazilian league match, Brazil’s disciplinary tribunal said.

The former AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Real Madrid striker was found guilty of ungentlemanly conduct for the incident during the goalless draw with Botafogo in the Brazilian league 10 days ago.

The incident, not seen by the referee, happened as Ronaldo tussled with Botafogo defender Fahel and was caught by television cameras.
