Dodgers to allow free parking for Oakland series
LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers will allow fans to park for free during the team’s June 16-18 series against the Oakland Athletics.
The team said Sunday that the $15 fee to park in the general lots at Dodger Stadium will be waived for those games. It won’t affect fans who have already purchased preferred parking.
The free parking coincides with planned tributes to police, firefighters and unrecognized community heroes during the three-game series.
Dodgers chief executive officer Jamie McCourt says the free parking offer is a way to make it easier for families to attend games.
