Sania-Chuang ousted from Birmingham doubles semis

BIRMINGHAM - India’s Sania Mirza and Chia-Jung Chuang of Chinese Taipei went down to top seeds Cara Black of Zimbabwe and American Liezel Huber in the doubles semifinals of the Aegon Classic tennis tournament here Saturday.

The third-seed pair lost 5-7, 3-6.

Sania’s run in the singles also came to an end in the semifinals, where she lost to Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova.
