Austin Daye has emerged as a skilled player with a lot of potential in the Ganzaga team which has been picked in the 2009 NBA Draft. Austin Daye has an advantage with his 6 feet 10 inches height and just needs to build up some muscles and gain weight in order to be completely fit for the NBA. Austin has decided to remain in the NBA Draft and work on his body with a personal trainer which is of course an advice from his father Darren Daye, who has played for 15 years in NBA. Austin confessed after discussing with his father that he has started feeling positive and comfortable and things seem to be getting right for him.
Austin Daye is good with his current position which is forward but he can also play small forward in case it is tough for him to play forward position. He is known to be very versatile though his body does not always provide him with required strength. He is too lanky and does not possess enough strength and speed to play for NBA. But he is considered to be a pool of right talent which could make him a fantastic player if he works on his body.
Bloggers have commented that he can use his height to cover his weakness, they also comment on him being a tremendous jumper on his point. NBA followers have wished him good luck for his upcoming games and credited him for his choice and braveness to take up a new challenge. The general public feels that he has the skills and just needs to get bulky to match the stamina of other players.
