Dodgers 2B Hudson scratched with upset stomach
LOS ANGELES — All-Star second baseman Orlando Hudson has been scratched from the Los Angeles Dodgers’ lineup with an upset stomach.
Hudson, who drove in two runs against Milwaukee on Monday night, was removed from the lineup about 90 minutes before Tuesday’s game against the Brewers.
Hudson has been one of the Dodgers’ most consistent hitters lately, batting .361 (22 for 61) in 16 games since the All-Star break. He had started 101 of Los Angeles’ first 106 games, completely missing just three games all season.
Backup Juan Castro replaced Hudson, who’s batting .292 with seven homers and 53 RBIs.
