Paulus throws first TD
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Greg Paulus has thrown his first touchdown pass for Syracuse.
Paulus used a nice pump fake against three Minnesota defenders on a second-and-6 play, and hit a wide-open Mike Williams for a 29-yard scoring pass late in the first quarter.
Minnesota led 14-10 after one quarter.
Paulus, who played basketball at Duke for four years but has one year of eligibility remaining, was 5-for-8 for 49 yards in the period.
