Sacramento State quarterback Jason Smith was 8-of-17 for 85 yards, and running back Terrance Dailey had 101 yards on 19 carries.

Trotter’s second and third touchdowns came within seven minutes of each other in the second half to help the Rebels extend their lead to 24-3 with 12:23 to play.
