The Citadel routs Princeton 38-7

PRINCETON, N.J. — Terrell Dallas scored two of The Citadel’s three touchdowns in the fourth quarter in a 38-7 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

Dallas’ first touchdown, a 1-yard run, came after Kyle Anderson blocked Ben Bologna’s 32-yard field goal attempt late in the third quarter that would have pulled the Tigers within seven points.

The Bulldogs (1-1) took a 31-7 lead with 5:29 left on Dallas’ second score, which was set up by Jonathan Glaspie’s 86-yard interception return to the Princeton 2. Jeremy Buncum intercepted another pass by Princeton’s Tommy Wornham and Miguel Starks capped the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run.

Blanchard finished 16-for-26 for 194 yards.

Wornham was 24-for-41 for 198 yards for the Tigers (0-1) in the second meeting between the schools.

Princeton took a 7-0 lead on Wornham’s 5-yard pass to Jeb Heavenrich.
