Chattanooga defeats Wofford 38-9
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — B.J. Coleman threw for four touchdowns and Chattanooga defeated Wofford 38-9 on Saturday night.
Coleman was 23-for-30 with 176 yards to lead the Mocs (3-1, 1-1 Southern Conference) to 346 yards of offense.
Blue Cooper caught the Mocs’ first two touchdown passes, and finished with 20 yards on four receptions. Chris Pitchford had 55 yards on eight catches and Clint Woods added 50 yards and a touchdown on five catches for Chattanooga.
The Terriers (1-3, 0-1) had three turnovers, including two interceptions by Mitch Allen. Allen finished with 75 yards on 7-for-14 passing.
Justice Joslin caught Wofford’s only touchdown pass, a 35-yarder from Allen with 11:30 left in the second quarter.
Wofford picked up a safety when the Mocs were tackled for a loss of 14 yards in their end zone.
