Montana seals 41-35 win with interception against Northern Arizona in OT

Montana edges Northern Arizona 41-35 in OT
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — After scoring on the first play of scrimmage in overtime, Montana came up with an interception on Northern Arizona’s ensuing drive for a 41-34 win over the Lumberjacks in overtime Saturday.
On the first play of the extra session, Montana quarterback Andrew Selle found Tyler Palmer, who scampered in for a score.
The Lumberjacks responded with a 22-yard pass play to get it down to the 3-yard line. On the next play, Shann Schillinger intercepted NAU quarterback Michael Herrick to close the game.
Northern Arizona’s Matt Myers kicked a 47-yard field with three seconds remaining in regulation to send it to overtime.
Montana improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big Sky Conference, while Northern Arizona fell to 1-2 and 0-1. The Grizzlies’ victory marked the 12th straight in the series, and the 21st in the last 22 matchups against the Lumberjacks.
