Jacksonville State’s Jamal Young returned the second-half kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown and a 34-3 lead, giving the Gamecocks (2-2) three consecutive quick scores.
Perrilloux threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Greg Smith with 1:22 left in the first half and Nicholls State fumbled on the ensuing kickoff return. Perrilloux threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to James Wilkerson with 33 seconds left in the half.
