Lehigh defeats Georgetown 27-0

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Chris Lum threw three touchdown passes to lead Lehigh to a 27-0 victory over Georgetown on Saturday.

Lum competed only eight of his 19 attempts, but threw a 17-yard scoring pass to Craig Zurn, a 7-yarder to Jake Drwal and a 3-yard scoring pass to De’Vaug Gordon. The Mountain Hawks (1-4, 1-0 Patriot League) also held the Hoyas to 125 yards of offense and sacked Isaiah Kempf eight times, including three by linebacker Matt Cohen.

Jay Campbell had 20 carries for 111 yards and the Mountain Hawks rushed for 219 as a team.

Lum’s touchdown pass to Zurn gave Lehigh a 6-0 lead with 4:56 left in the first quarter.

He connected Drwal for a 13-0 lead with 12:11 left in the second quarter and Jaren Walker gave Lehigh a 20-0 halftime lead with a 7-yard run with 1:42 remaining.

Kempf was 27 of 40 for 151 yards and the Hoyas (0-5, 0-3) were held to 61 yards rushing.
