Frazier leads Monmouth past Sacred Heart 42-20
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Kyle Frazier threw for 322 yards and four touchdowns and David Sinisi had three scores to lead Monmouth of New Jersey to a 42-20 win on Saturday.
Sinisi, who finished with 135 yards rushing on 20 carries, scored on a 1-yard run and caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from Frazier to give the Hawks (3-3, 2-1 Northeast Conference) a 21-3 lead in the first half. Sinisi added a 48-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Frazier, who was 18-for-24 passing, also had passing scores of 23 yards to Mike Roeder and a 7-yarder to Ryan Folsom to give Monmouth a 42-6 lead in the final quarter.
Ron Lauch caught three passes for 114 yards for the Hawks, including a 58-yard touchdown catch from Frazier in the first quarter.
Sacred Heart’s Dale Fink, who was 36-for-54 passing, threw for 373 yards and two touchdowns for the Pioneers (1-5, 1-3).
