Babin throws 3 touchdown passes in 27-0 Southeastern Louisiana win over Northwestern State

SE Louisiana blanks Northwestern State 27-0
NATCHITOCHES, La. — Brian Babin threw three touchdown passes as Southeastern Louisiana shut out Northwestern State 27-0 on Saturday.
Wilson connected with Chris Wilson for a 22-yard score in the first quarter, and threw second-quarter scoring tosses of 48 yards to Kory Theodore and 10 yards to Jasper Ducksworth to help stake the Lions (6-3, 4-1 Southland Conference) to a 24-0 halftime lead.
Jeff Turner, who began the Lions’ scoring with a 45-yard field goal, added a 36-yarder in the third quarter to complete the scoring.
Babin was 15-for-30 passing for 200 yards for Southeastern Louisiana and wasn’t intercepted. Ducksworth gained 81 yards on 15 carries.
Darius Duffy had 12 catches for 147 yards for Northwestern State (0-9, 0-5) to move into third place on the Demons’ career list.
John Shaughnessy missed a 49-yard field goal and had a 43-yarder blocked for the Demons.
