Patriots RB Taylor practices to face former team
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots running back Fred Taylor seems set to face his former team after missing 10 games with an ankle injury.
Taylor participated fully in practice Wednesday for the first time since being sidelined. The Patriots play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who released Taylor after 11 seasons in which he became their top career rusher.
Nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who missed last Sunday’s 17-10 win at Buffalo with a foot injury, and defensive end Ty Warren, who sat out with an ankle injury, returned to practice on a limited basis.
Quarterback Tom Brady did not participate and was listed with right shoulder, right finger and rib injuries. He practiced with those injuries last week and took every offensive snap against the Bills.
